This the first summer that all three kids have loved the sprinkler. They are so excited to run through or get their hair wet or just stand there. Olivia was a bit reluctant at first, but soon warmed up to the game. Jared and Jackson loved just standing there and getting their backsides or head wet. It is very entertaining to watch and it helps the new grass (which is being trampled by little feet) grow.
Olivia felt very proud of herself when she finally decided to get wet. She doesn't like to get dirty or her clothes messed up. I really think she is a little prissy, but will play in dirt with the boys on
occasion. She wanted to put on her swimsuit at first and then saw how much fun the boys were having and decided she would just wear her dress.
After the playing was over, no one wanted to go in and take a bath because they were already "wrinkly". They were pretty nasty though and slept very well that night. They look forward to more fun in the sprinkler as the summer goes on.
